As a former Kroger Produce & Floral Buyer, Patrick offers the unique experience from the retail standpoint of produce labeling and packaging. Having worked closely with many growers and shippers in the industry, he also brings an understanding of the supply side of produce marketing.
With this expertise, he can assist both retailers and shippers alike in developing the best marketing, labeling and packaging programs.
In early 1995
As a Kroger buyer, Patrick saw the need for a better way to code leaf products. One that would allow for a bulk display of the product, not covering it up or breaking ribs, yet be scannable at the checkout. The solution came with his development of the SCANfresh Identification Tag. For over 23 years, the SCANfresh tag has been the choice for both retailers and grower/shippers for it’s ease of application, processing convenience and display capabilities.
